VRELO IN BELGRADE

For the next edition of Pyramid Festival, we are giving special attention to a space that was one of its most vibrant places this year — our Jam & Art Zone – Vrelo.

It is growing, gaining more space, a richer programme and a new dimension.

And it is getting a new name.

VRELO

The name comes from Rtanj.

Rtanjsko Vrelo — the spring of Rtanj — is known as a source of energy, attracting people from around the world who come to the mountain in search of healing, renewal and reconnection with nature and themselves.

In that idea, we recognised something that has been happening spontaneously within our Jam & Art Zone for years.

Only here, a different kind of energy emerges.

Creative energy.

VRELO is a place where that energy is released through music, art, improvisation, movement, conversation and encounters with other people.

A place where we don’t simply come to observe what someone else has created, but become part of the act of creation ourselves.

That is why at the next Pyramid, VRELO will become bigger, richer and more alive than ever before — with an expanded Jam & Art programme and even more space for spontaneous creation and human connection.

At its heart remains the jam.

The magic of a jam session happens when music moves beyond the familiar relationship between performer and listener and becomes something we discover together.

Listeners become co-creators of harmony.

Individuality and belonging exist at the same time.

Through rhythm and melody, we enter a shared state of consciousness, and what emerges belongs to no single performer and can never be repeated in exactly the same way.

It happens there.
Between us.

Like a spring — it emerges and begins to flow.

Taking part in the jam brings us closer, awakens and nurtures the creative spirit, and preserves something important, beautiful and deeply human within us.

This is the idea behind the new VRELO.

Visual artist TKV will also join the Jam Session, creating a live painting with her feet, inspired by the music, rhythm and energy emerging from the jam — transforming the collective sound of VRELO into a visual expression.

And before we open it together on Rtanj, we are bringing its energy into the city.

SEPTEMBER 13 · VRELO AT SILOSI

We begin at sunset with a collective Jam Session.

But the musicians won’t be the only ones forming the VRELO Orchestra that evening.

A selection of instruments will be available for everyone to pick up, join the jam and become part of the music being created in that very moment.

And as the sun goes down, VRELO continues to flow through dance.
